Database Applications
3 credits; 4 hours (3 lecture, 1 lab)

This course introduces data base application software. Students will learn the use of a data base through extensive hands-on experience. The course will emphasize the use of alternative methods of searching the data base, selective retrieval of informaton, and report/label preparation. Students will explore the use of advanced functions in order to combine files, modify original design, update records and become familiar with command-driven and menu prompts in a Windows environment.
