E-Commerce

This course will guide the student from the fundamental steps required to setup an E-commerce online store (registering a domain name, obtaining a secure certificate, FTP, web server, domain name, IIS setup, dealing with a variety of Web serving operating systems, IP addresses, routers, ISP, DNS, and the difference between client and server side scripts through a full E-commerce structure published with a site license and SSL setup).

This course will give students hands-on experience designing, implementing and monitoring business-customer web commerce sites. A project using the IMSI web business builder will enable students to build a complete secure online E-commerce store that employs a database driven product and administration menu.
