Windows Programming is a course designed to introduce
Computer Science and Programming majors to actual low-level windows
programming. Using the Windows 95/NT operating system (and the
C programming language), students will be introduced to the Windows
Messaging System, the message loop, and the system APIS needed
to write window programs. Learning these features is an excellent
prelude to becoming a Visual C++ programmer. It is recommended
that students have taken at least one programming language prior
to this class. Computer languages such as C/C++, PASCAL, or JAVA
are adequate preparation. |
